A new contract signed between the Road and Bridge Departmen of Libya (RABA) and Omran Engineering Consultants (OEC) to prepare the studies for the maintenance of Mizda-Brak Road (517 Km). According to this contract OEC is to carry out a number of studies and to prepare the required designs and specifications for the maintenance works of the 517 Km highway. Studies to be carried out include: Survying, Pavement Condition Rating (PCR), Geological and Hydrological studies, soil and local materials studies, etc.Works in this contract are expected to start on the middle of July 2009 and will last for 10 months.
OEC currently works on other contrcat with RABA includes the PG study and the preparation of the Libyan Specification for the construction of asphalt pavements .
